Phyllis Hollis has a proven track record fine tuning business platforms. She has effective operational and problem-solving skills and takes a proactive strategic approach, utilizing technology, to drive revenues and reduce expenses.
She has more than thirty years’ experience in the financial services industry. Most recently Hollis was the CEO/ COO/ CMO of a minority owned boutique broker-dealer.
Hollis began her career in technology working for IBM as a Systems Engineer. In 1983 she transitioned to the financial services industry working for Salomon Brothers in Mortgage Sales and Trading.
In 1994, Hollis became a co-founder of the first minority owned investment bank specializing in Taxable Fixed Income, Utendahl Capital Partners, with Merrill Lynch as a strategic partner.
Years later, during her tenure at M.R. Beal & Co., Phyllis managed the firm’s participation in the Facebook IPO in 2012. This was her introduction to innovative marketing technologies and the catalyst to her interest in digital marketing strategies.
Since leaving her position as a CEO in 2018, Phyllis earned certifications in digital marketing fundamentals and strategy from Cornell, Google and Harvard. She built upon these skills and launched a digital marketing agency.
A current project includes production of a visual arts podcast titled Cerebral Women Art Talks.
